How does CarVS compare rental car offers?

Short answer: CarVS is a comparison front-end, not a rental company. When you run a search, our own servers query our data provider and return real offers found through that feed. The results land on a board where every row is a concrete offer from a named company: the vehicle class, the supplier, the pickup point, the fuel policy as reported, and the total for your exact dates.

Comparison happens structurally before anything gets priced. Elsewhere on the site we publish dated tables of fee structures — deposit practice, young-driver rules, cancellation terms by payment type, toll-program behavior — because those facts change slowly and can be stated honestly in advance. Prices, by contrast, are never baked into any page; they render per search, per visitor.

On the board you can sort rows, filter them down to the shape of trip you actually have, and select up to three offers into a side-by-side tray for a direct read on differences. If you leave us to book, it happens on the partner site via Kayak — we never hold your payment, never see your card, and cannot edit what the feed shows even by accident.
